Summer Academic Program

Program Description

The Summer Academic Program is an opportunity for students to expand their learning, funded by the ELOP Grant provided by the state of California. Classes are taught by our highly qualified San Diego Unified teachers.  


Program Dates and Bell Times

Wednesday, June 4, 2025 through Thursday July 3, 2025.

(Closed June 19, July 4 and July 5)

2025 Summer Programming Information


Eligibility

Per the California Department of Education Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) grant requirements and district priority areas, priority registration will be given to students who meet at least one of the below criteria:

  • Multilingual (English Language Learner) 
  • Eligible for a free or reduced-price meal 
  • Homeless/foster youth 
  • Students with Disabilities (IEP or 504)

Not Eligible:

  • Students enrolled in Charter Schools and/or outside of San Diego Unified School District are not eligible for our Summer Programs.
  • Students planning to enroll in the 2025-2026 school year are not eligible to participate.
  • Students participating in the State Pre-School Program are not eligible to participate.

Enrollment process will be shared with families after winter break.
