How the SPSA, LCAP, and Board Goals Work Together
San Diego Unified School District has made a focused effort to ensure our plans, from the district level to each individual school, are all working toward the same big goals for students.

• Board Guardrails – Keep us on track and ensure our actions reflect our core values.

• District LCAP – Provides direction and purpose, focusing our efforts on achieving success for all students across the district.

• School SPSA – Turns the LCAP’s priorities into specific actions at each school, tailored to meet the unique needs of that school’s students, staff, and community.

Together, these three elements create a clear path from values → goals → actions, ensuring every decision supports student success.
